BSA Troop 94
We are an active BSA Troop that meets at Toney United Methodist Church just off Highway 53 in Toney, Alabama. Our program seeks to advance our young men to the rank of Eagle Scout through the learning of outdoor skills and developing character through service, leadership, and community engagement . To achieve these goals, we offer activities that usually include camping or hiking at least once a month. So if you are a boy or young man from age 11 to 17 who wants to have fun and learn about the outdoors, why not join our Troop? All are welcome. Girls and young ladies are invited to join our sister troop: Troop 95.

Our Philosophy
We believe in boy-led adventure. Our mission is to encourage all scouts to achieve their highest potential while embracing the ideals of Scouting. We do that by creating a safe environment where scouts can explore various opportunities for serious fun. We believe in strong parental involvement, and therefore we welcome adult volunteers.

What We Do
Leadership
All activities, including meetings, Courts of Honor, and excursions, are led by the Scouts, with adult supervision. Twice a year, Troop members elect qualified candidates into open leadership positions. Learn more about the process here.
Adventure
Adventure is a core component of our Scouting program. Every month, the Scouts plan and execute a weekend adventure, from camping and backpacking to water sports and caving. Come along with us! Visit the Adventure page for more examples.
Community Service
Every year, Scouts dedicate millions of hours to the service of others, conducting projects in such areas as food collection/ distribution, litter cleanup/ community beautification, and conservation projects. We are committed to “Do a Good Turn Daily” and invite you to serve alongside us.

Congratulations to our newest Eagles!
